Thank you to Teresa G. for emailing me a question that every investor has felt on more than a single occasion.
Teresa is a new investor that has been giving wholesaling (real estate SFR) her all for the past few months. At first Teresa got into real estate with the hopes of making some fast cash and drastically improving her lifestyle and wellbeing. After numerous attempts to find, make offers, and contract single family homes Teresa has hit a big wall in her progress.
It seems everyone failed to mention the complexity, competition, and frustrations that traditional Real Estate Investing can have. Teresa is the single mother of 3 children, works two jobs, and still has found the time to begin investing in real estate.
The advice I gave to Teresa is similar to advice I give to a lot of new, burnt-out, confused, and disheartened newby real estate investors.
Update: Teresa has decided to hold off on traditional house investing and begin to invest solely in Manufactured Housing. Watch for the next update with Teresa’s progress!
